Therasuit Therapy

The purpose then was to give the cosmonauts in space a way to counter the effects of long-term weightlessness on the body. The suit is currently used to treat children with physical disabilities resulting from cerebral palsy, other neurological conditions originating from brain damage or spinal cord injury.

Goals of the Therasuit Progam

* Improve independence with activities of daily living (self-care, feeding & dressing)
* Improve body awareness
* motor skills
Therasuit Method Intensive Program is currently offered at our Main Campus and Brandon locations. TheraSuit Method trained occupational therapists and physical therapists use this approach to develop an individualized treatment plan for each child. TMIP includes a three-hour session, five days a week, for three weeks.
